YOUR ROLE
As the Technical Engineering Officer within the Technical Services unit, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of Councils existing civil infrastructure assets and ensuring future development is carried out in compliance with Council’s standards, policies and plans.
This role will assist the development engineering team with assessment and inspection of development related works on Council assets. Primary responsibilities will include the management of applications for works within Council’s road reserve including ensuring compliance with Council’s engineering specifications.
Duties will also include the inspection and assessment of Council’s assets to update the asset management systems and processes to create a suitable works program.
YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)
• A commencing annual salary of $113,377 - $127,591 dependent upon skills and experience, inclusive of 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance and 12% superannuation
• Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 35-hour working week
