Tonkin + Taylor (T+T) is seeking an Associate to Senior Associate level Environmental Geosciences (Contaminated Land) Consultant to help continue to build our Environmental Geosciences practice area in the Victorian market.
This is a permanent full-time role in our Southbank (Victoria) office, with flexible working options available.

We need your skills
You will take the lead on business development in our Melbourne office and continue to build on our success in providing market-leading technical expertise. Your core duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with existing and new clients across diverse sectors
- Managing the successful delivery of focused and multi-disciplinary projects
- Building internal networks across local, interstate and trans-Tasman offices
- Providing input to business strategies and action plans
- Identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and implementing projects successfully and to a high standard
- Mentoring and providing guidance to junior staff
- Delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget
Our preferred candidate will have:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Environmental Science/Engineering or related
- 15+ years' experience in environmental consulting
- EIANZ Certified Environmental Practitioner accreditation
- Strong connections with the Victorian market across various sectors including land, industry, waste, and transport
- Technical capabilities in all or some of these aspects: PFAS, hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbons, asbestos, groundwater, soil, soil vapour, hydrogeology, remediation
- Excellent client facing and business development skills
- Proven problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong cultural fit with the team
