This is an end‑to‑end engineering role — from concept and documentation through to manufacture and installation.

What you’ll be doing
- Designing and documenting roller shutter and door systems using SolidWorks
- Producing clear, accurate engineering drawings for manufacturing and sales teams
- Preparing job‑specific production paperwork to support efficient manufacture
- Providing practical technical advice to customers, sales, and factory personnel
- Reviewing, maintaining, and improving existing product designs and engineering manuals
- Attending site visits with Project Managers to capture measurements and technical requirements
- Supporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Liaising with suppliers to support cost‑effective and manufacturable design outcomes
What Matters Most:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 3–4 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment in a product, mechanical, or design engineering role
- Strong SolidWorks and CAD documentation skills
- Practical understanding of mechanical design and made‑to‑order manufacturing
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers, production teams, and suppliers
- Organised, deadline‑driven, and solutions focused
Experience with roller doors, shutters, access systems, or similar engineered products will be highly regarded.
