Overview of the Position: Manufacturing and assembling complex coaxial cables, cable harnesses and antennas following RFShop procedures and Team Leader instructions, with advanced soldering required. Employees are responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards, conducting equipment testing, and escalating non-standard issues as needed. Adherence to RFShop policies, including WHS and emergency procedures, is essential.
Main Tasks:
- Manufacture and assemble complex coaxial cables, and antennas in accordance with the RFShop Assembly Procedure and instructions from Team Leaders, this can include labelling, cable harnesses, complex antennas etc.
- Assembly of mixed cable harnesses, including CAT, fibre-optic, power cables.
- Maintain quality and efficiency by ensuring all products are produced to meet quality and safety standards.
- Contribute to assembly procedure improvements and make sure all assemblies meet RFShop quality standards.
- Conduct required testing and ensure all equipment is properly calibrated according to instructions before use. Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications, drawings, contracts and regulations
- Evaluating performance of equipment
- Keep the warehouse tidy and organized to provide a safe working environment for all staff.
- Follow all RFShop procedures, including emergency protocols, WHS policies, and guidelines in the company manuals.

Essential Requirements:
- Advanced soldering techniques essential
- 3+ years of Electronic Assembly experience is essential
- Certificate or diploma in Electronic Engineering preferred
- Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is desirable but not mandatory.
- Good understanding of Work, Health and Safety practices within manufacturing and a warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail.
